Area Service Committees are a place where we come together to discuss how we can further carry the message to the members of our area and reach those who have not yet found us. Attendance at subcommittees is open to all interested NA members.

Blue Mountain Area Service Committee (BMASC)

The Blue Mountain Area Service Committee (BMASC) includes Group Service Representatives (GSR), elected Officers, and Subcommittee Chairpersons who meet monthly. The ASC does most of the work in NA so that the NA groups can focus on their primary purpose, delivering the message to the still suffering addict. Attendance at the ASC is open to all interested NA members.

Activities Subcommittee

The Activities Subcommittee organizes dances, picnics, and speaker meetings. Activities like these help to provide a greater sense of unity for the Blue Mountain Area NA Fellowship.

Hospitals and Institutions (H&I) Subcommittee

The purpose of the Hospitals & Institutions (H&I) Subcommittee is to serve NA groups and the community at large in the Area to ensure that the message of recovery reaches all those who might benefit. The H&I Subcommittee accomplishes this by coordinating with the Helpline, Literature, and Public Information (PI) services in the spirit of unity to carry meetings and literature into hospitals, detoxes, prisons, and other institutions to fulfill our primary purpose of carrying the message to the addict who still suffers. Literature Subcommittee

The Literature Subcommittee provides access to NA literature for BMANA meetings. Our purpose is to carry the message of recovery in written form to the addict who still suffers.

Public Information (PI) Subcommittee

The purpose of the Public Information (PI) Subcommittee is to serve NA groups and the community at large in the Area to ensure that the message of recovery reaches all those who might benefit. The PI Subcommittee accomplishes this by coordinating Public Information, Helpline, and IT Services to fulfill our primary purpose.
